Air Purification : Vortronic 150T Air Cleaner

The filtering system of Vortronic products Vortronic products work like a magnet. The dirty air is sucked through the metal pre-filter, which traps the larger impurities. Polluting substances that are invisible to the naked eye are removed by the electrostatic filter. These particles are electrically charged, drawn to the collecting electrodes and trapped. The air passes through the purifier and is eventually discharged outside through the activated carbon-fibre filter that eliminates most odours. A further filter of active granular carbon is installed on the 150T model. The Role of the Ionising Electrode Recent studies of biology and environmental hygiene have proved that negative ions are essential for maintaining the good quality of the air we breathe. Vortronics ionising electrode faithfully reproduces a natural phenomenon.

Washable filters

The metal filter and electrostatic filters are removeable and washable by hand, or in a dishwasher.

Light controls

The controls have indicator lights. A glance is sufficient to check whether the air purifier is functioning correctly.

Replaceable filters

The activated carbon filters permit the elimination of most odours and are replaceable when saturated.

Saturated filter indicator light

The red indicator light illuminates when the electrostatic filter is saturated and has to be reactivated by washing.

Daily timer

The Vortronic 150T has a daily timer for automatic switch on/off.

Can be positioned anywhere

The smaller models (35 or 70) can be placed on a table, shelf, or wall-mounted. If mounted on the wall by means of the optional kit, they can easily be unhooked and placed on a surface. The larger model (150T) has rotating castors making it easy to move around on floors and carpets.

Safe and silent

All models have motors with built-in protection and are constructed according to ECI standards and approved by the Quality Mark Institute. The filter bay of the Vortronic 150T is fitted with a safety lock. Set at the lowest speed, the purifiers run noiselessly.
