The filtering system of Vortronic products Vortronic products work like a magnet. The dirty air is sucked through the metal pre-filter, which traps the larger impurities. Polluting substances that are invisible to the naked eye are removed by the electrostatic filter. These particles are electrically charged, drawn to the collecting electrodes and trapped. The air passes through the purifier and is eventually discharged outside through the activated carbon-fibre filter that eliminates most odours. The Role of the Ionising Electrode Recent studies of biology and environmental hygiene have proved that negative ions are essential for maintaining the good quality of the air we breathe.
